Citigroup is the latest high profile company to fall victim to a cyber attack.
The company says hackers gained access to the accounts of 200,000 customers. They were able to view customers names, account numbers and contact information, but weren't able to access social security numbers, birth dates or card security codes.
In an emailed statement, Citigroup said the company is contacting customers who were affected and putting in procedures to prevent the security breach from happening again.
The Citigroup online security breach comes on the heels of the massive hacker attacks against multiple Sony sites. An attack against Sony's Playstation network affected more than 100 million online accounts and forced the site to temporarily shutdown.
