Doctors have diagnosed country music recording artist Glen Campbell with Alzheimer's Disease.
Campbell's wife told People Magazine the country legend has suffered with memory loss for several years. The official diagnosis came from doctors about six months ago.
Campbell, 75, is known for such hits as "Rhinestone Cowboy" and "Gentle on My Mind."
Kim Campbell said her husband will give a series of farewell performances this fall.
She added that the family came forward with his condition to raise awareness about Alzheimer's.
