What was supposed to be an family ordinary trip to the zoo has turn out to be an extraordinary Internet sensation.

It all began when the Higley family took their toddler, Trent, to a Colorado zoo. While visiting the lion exhibit, one of the animals took a special interest in the boy.

The 400-pound lioness named Angie appears to be trying to eat the toddler through the glass of the exhibit.

At first his parent's scooped the boy up, but after he cried in protest, they let him go back up to the window.

"You know obviously a lion going after your kid, even with a two-inch thick glass in between, can be a little nerve-wracking," said Higley's father, Ryan

The Higleys uploaded the video of the lion to YouTube's website where so far it has had more than 400,000 views.
