An Arizona State University wrestler is the new national champion for his weight class -- and he won it all with only one leg.
Anthony Robles finished his senior season with a 36-0 record. He topped off the perfect season with a 7-1 win against Iowa defending champ Matt McDonough, Saturday.
The 22-year-old was born without his right leg, but said his disability is an advantage in wresting because walking with crutches gives him a "strong grip."
"It's all about capitalizing on your strengths and not focusing much on your weaknesses," Robles said.
On the medals podium, Robles was given a standing ovation by the sold out crowd of nearly 20,000 people.
