Regent University students are participating in an "impact trip" with a team from the charity aid organization Operation Blessing International.

More than 30 students from the Virginia Beach, Va., college are taking part in the week-long outreach in Southern California.

The combined teams are working with the charity's hunger relief partners Fred Jordan Mission and Isaiah's Rock.

The students and mission team members spent the week helping to serve the homeless, hungry and poor.

Both organizations feed hundreds each week thanks in part to food received from Operation Blessing.
