As Americans across the country celebrate the death of 9/11-architect Osama bin Laden, the wife of one victim has raised questions on whether or not such revelry is the best way for Christians to respond.
Although Jennifer Sands lost her husband Jim in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks almost 10 years ago, she has refused to "rejoice" in the killing of the world's most wanted man.
"As a Bible-believing, evangelical Christian, I cannot rejoice in the death of a man who is now spending his eternity in hell," Sands said in a statement.
While she said she understood why crowds of Americans would celebrate the death of man that caused pain for so many, she strongly believed Jesus would not be "cheering right now."
"He died for bin Laden's sins just as he died for yours and mine," she said.
Sands shared more on her views about bin Laden's death, on CBN News Channel Midday News, May 5.
