Christian recording artist Lincoln Brewster led an Easter worship service last month for an audience of 20,000 at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, Calif.
Brewster came up with idea of having all 13 Bayside church campuses meet at Pavilion.
"My husband said they don't even have that many people at the Kings' games," Bayside Church member Jennifer Mathes told Sacramento TV station News10. "It's bigger than I thought. Much bigger than I thought."
Besides having the Sunday worship, the Bayside Church took the opportunity to honor America's World War II veterans and also made the service a fund-raising effort for several local charities.
Their goal was $300,000, and a church official said one person alone pledged $100,000.
Recently, CBN News interviewed Brewster about the results of the Easter service at the Sacramento pavilion and how he was led to becoming a worship leader.
