Former President George W. Bush said he has congratulated President Obama after hearing about bin Laden's death.
Obama had called Bush with the news before announcing it to the country.
The former president also sent a congratulatory message to the men and women of the U.S. military and intelligence communities who had dedicated their lives to finding the al Qaeda mastermind.
"This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001," Bush said.
He also said the U.S. "has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done."
CBN News Correspondent Chuck Holton, a former U.S. Army Ranger, talked about the 10-year manhunt for bin Laden, the firefight that took his life and the custom built compound where he was found on the CBN News Channel's Morning News, May 2.
