While President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed American policy on Israel at the White House Friday, dozens of demonstrators both for and against Israel gathered outside.
The liberal anti-war group Code Pink called on the United States to change its Mideast policy and favor the Palestinians.
"Do we want our money going to the Israeli government? No!" protestors chanted.
Netanyahu supporters simultaneously held a "Say No to Palestinian State" rally.
Pro-Israeli demonstrators waved signs showing their support of the Jewish State. One read, "Fight Terrorism, Support Israel," and another read "Obama Betrayed America."
"Israel has been a good friend to the United States, has provided imperative intelligence, and became a state from the ashes of the Holocaust," one attendee told CBN News.
