Review: Fourth 'Pirates' Movie Sails into Theaters

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is scheduled to open in movie theaters across the U.S. on Friday.

The fourth installment of the popular Walt Disney series continues the adventures of the often inebriated Capt. Jack Sparrow.

This time around, the unscrupulous pirate vies with Blackbeard and his daughter to find the elusive Fountain of Youth.

"The past three entries in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise have all had several things in common: dark grotesqueries mixed with beautiful women, handsome but scruffy men, rollicking adventure and a general attitude of "devil take the consequences as long as I get me pile o' booty," writes Plugged-In film critic Bob Hoose.

"Now make it four movies all together," he added.

Focus on the Family film critic Bob Waliszewski talked more about what viewers can expect from the fourth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' installment on the CBN News Channel's Midday News, May 20.
