Roughly one month after announcing his departure from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Paul Crouch, Jr. has joined The Word Network as their new director of project development.
The largest African-American religious network in the U.S. welcomed the eldest son of TBN founders Paul and Janet Crouch with open arms.
"I look forward to working with Paul to help expand The Word Network throughout the Christian community," The Word Network CEO Kevin Adell said.
Crouch, Jr.'s resignation from TBN in mid-October came as a surprise to many.
The former TBN vice president and chief of staff had just successfully launched iTBN, the network's new interactive effort to broadcast its programming online to reach a wider audience.
"All ministries must evolve," Crouch, Jr. said in August about the project. "The message of the gospel doesn't change, but the way we get it out, I think, does."
The Word Network airs in 85 million homes across the U.S. and 200 countries worldwide.
