Two abortion clinic workers pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree murder in deaths at a West Philadelphia clinic where babies were allegedly killed with scissors.
Andrea Moton admitted her involvement in the death of one baby.
Sherry West pleaded guilty in the death of a 41-year-old who was given a fatal dose of painkillers at the clinic.
"She's very sorry about the death of that young lady," defense lawyer Michael Wallace said. "She got caught up in a series of things that probably she did not realize the significance of."
Authorities said neither worker was properly trained at the clinic run by Dr. Kermit Gosnell, nor did they have proper licenses to work in the facility.
Gosnell and nine employees, including his wife, are accused of performing illegal late-term abortions.
Gosnell, who's being held on $2 million bail, denies the allegations
West faces up to 140 years in prison, but would likely get far less time because of her cooperation.
Moton faces up to 120 years in prison.
