A federal jury in North Carolina convicted three Muslin men Thursday for plotting to commit acts of terror.
The trial centered on a plot to carry out terrorist attacks on a U.S. Marine Corps base in Quantico, Va., and overseas targets.

An American Muslim-convert led the small group of jihadists, which were based near Raleigh, N.C.
The three men were convicted after two days of deliberations.
Sherifi and Yaghi could receive life-sentences for their role in the plot. Hassan could to face up to 15 years in prison.
