The "I am Second" website is taking the phrase 'I surrender all' to heart, encouraging believers from all walks of life to put Christ first in their lives.
"I am Second is a movement meant to inspire people of all kinds to live for God and for others -- actors, athletes, musicians, business leaders, drug addicts, your next-door neighbor, people like you," the website states.
The site was launched in December 2008 in the Dallas-Forth Worth, Texas area by businessman Norm Miller, with the help of e3 Partners, a world missions organization.
As of Monday, 5 million people have visited the website, according to The Christian Post.
Miller explained that he'd been searching for ways to "lift up Christ so that He might draw the people of his city to Jesus."
The site does more than admonish Christians to live holy lives. It comes alongside them to help them in their journey, addressing issues like addiction, abuse and other issues.
Small groups have formed across the country where people can connect with another and encourage each other in the faith, sharing stories and testimonies.
Although I am Second began in Texas, its goal is to "take Jesus to the world" and "bring real-world solutions to poverty and suffering."
"When we started I am Second less than three years ago, we could have never imagined the overwhelmingly positive response it would get," said Mike Jorgensen, second director at e3 Partners.
"We daily receive emails and messages from individuals who have visited the website and seen their lives changed, thanks to the powerful, raw testimonies of faith shared," he added.
