An emotional homecoming was held Sunday for a war hero who lost three of his limbs in Afghanistan.
Marine Cpl. J.B. Kerns, 21, served in Afghanistan earlier this year, but lost both his legs and right arm after an IED blast.
Hundreds of motorcycles gathered in his hometown of Ararat, Va., to escort him home for the first time since the attack.
The tiny community raised more than $50,000 to help pay for the Kerns' medical bills.
"Y'all don't know what it means to me to know that everybody is here for me," he said.
Doctors say Kerns must now undergo tough physical therapy.
