Firefighters in Colorado have almost fully contained the deadly wildfire that erupted in the state a week ago.
On Monday, Jacki Kelley of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced that 97 percent of the fire's perimeter is now under control.
That, in addition to predictions of overnight snowfall, has led authorities to allow evacuees from the Lower North Fork wildfire to return to their homes.
The blaze is believed to have killed three people and destroyed or damaged several dozen homes.
