Bubba Watson, 33, is the latest golfer to put on the iconic green jacket after winning the Masters tournament Sunday, his first major championship win.

Earlier this year, Watson told CBN Sports he gives God all the credit for his success in the sport.

But he added that winning isn't what's most important to him.

"Knowing that God has a purpose for me, no matter what, he has a purpose. And for some reason he has chosen golf for me," he said.

"There are so many great Bible verses that mean a lot to me and they all have behind them the message, 'Jesus loves me,'" he said.

So what's next for golf's newest star?

Watson said he's going home to change some diapers. He and his wife adopted a baby boy just two weeks ago.
