An April snowstorm dropped slushy snow on the Northeast, closing schools and leaving some residents without power.
As much as a foot of snow fell in higher elevations of New York and Pennsylvania, and about 50,000 people lost power at the height of the storm.
Closer to the coast, the storm brought heavy rain, putting parts of New Hampshire and Maine under a flood watch.
The blast of snow and rain caps an otherwise moderate winter.
The warm weather had some getting an early start on their spring tans, but winter's parting shot now has some parks covered in the wet, white, stuff.
