This year's inspiring season with NBA star Jeremy Lin may be over.
The New York Knicks point guard will undergo surgery for an injured knee, putting him out of the action for at least the next six weeks.
Lin gained worldwide recognition earlier this season after leading the Knicks to a seven-game winning streak.
The Harvard graduate was cut by two NBA teams and was out of work before signing with the Knicks.
Lin has used his newfound fame to speak openly about his Christian faith.
He said he's disappointed by his injury but hopeful for a quick recovery.
