Texas residents are still picking up the pieces after severe storms spawned 14 tornadoes around Dallas last week.
Lancaster resident Greg Thomas and his wife, Lori, are struggling to cope with their losses. After their home of more than 20 years was destroyed by one of the twisters, the couple was forced to move into a hotel.
"It kind of hit home," Lori Thomas told Houston television station WFAA. "You just take it for granted. You walk into your house every day and you take it for granted. I still miss my home."
For the first time this weekend, aid workers were allowed into Lancaster and other hard hit areas.
