The Holy Bible is now a hit television game show.
More than a half million people tuned to the Game Show Network, Thursday, to watch the premiere of "The American Bible Challenge," hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
That's three times the audience of "Family Feud," the program that aired before it.
"The best-selling book of all time is now GSN's most viewed program of all time, which proves that consumers are yearning for fun, family- friendly entertainment," Amy Introcaso-Davis, GSN's executive vice president of programming and development, said
"We are incredibly proud of this show and are happy that it connected with so many viewers," she said.
This first season of the show continues for the next nine weeks. In the end, the winning team members will earn $100,000 for their charity.
