Evangelist Billy Graham is resting back at home after being rushed to a hospital in Asheville, N.C., Sunday.
Doctors say Graham responded well to the treatment for bronchitis, which was caught early.
"Despite this illness, he remains remarkably healthy for a 93-year-old man," Mission Hospital pulmonologist Daniel Fertel, who treated Graham, said.
In a news release, Graham said, "I am also grateful for the prayers and letters I received from people across the country and around the world during my short stay."
"Such an outpouring of love and support is always a blessing but was especially appreciated during my hospitalization," he said.
His son Franklin said his father believes God will let him live to the age of 95, and he is making plans for a televised evangelistic outreach and the publication of a new book in the next year.
