Few protestors showed up for the gay "Kiss-In" last Friday at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country.
Gay rights activists said couples would turn-out at Chick-fil-A's and kiss a member of the same sex.
The words "Tastes Like Hate" were painted on the side of one restaurant in Torrence, Calif.
"The president of the company has the right to say what he feels, just like gays and lesbians do, but when you destroy someone's property ... it only creates negativity," Denise Spenser, who visited the restaurant Friday, told The Los Angeles Times.
The demonstration was intended to be a counter-protest to Wednesday's "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day."
Thousands of people showed up for that event to support Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy for his public support of traditional marriage.
The day helped the fast food chain set a new one-day sales record.
