Talk show host Glenn Beck's publishing company, Mercury Ink, is negotiating with author David Barton to publish a new edition of his book, The Jefferson Lies, according to Publishers Weekly.
The book, The Jefferson Lies, aims to debunk what it calls myths surrounding President Thomas Jefferson regarding his faith.
Christian publisher Thomas Nelson recently dropped the book, citing concerns about accuracy.
"We took all of those concerns seriously, tried to sort out matters of opinion or interpretation, and in the course of our review learned that there were some historical details included in the book that were not adequately supported," Thomas Nelson said in a statement.
Barton told Publishers Weekly that the new edition will, "not include any substantive changes, but I will rephrase some things to remove any potential confusion."
He also said he would include some information that was cut by Thomas Nelson.
"I have actually run across more supporting documents that strengthen my case, not weaken it," Barton said.
