Christian radio host Frank Pastore died Monday of injuries he received in a motorcycle accident last month.
For nine years, he hosted the Frank Pastore Show out of Los Angeles, turning it into one of the largest Christian talk shows in America.
"It is with sorrow mixed with joy that I share with you that my dear friend Frank Pastore went home to be with Jesus today," Calvary Chapel Chino Valley Pastor David Rosales said, according to The Christian Post. "(Pastor) David Bustamante and I went to pray for him, and while we were there he passed gently into the loving arms of Jesus."
Some say Pastore may have unknowingly prophesied his death just hours before the accident that eventually took his life.
Speaking on his program about the Christian view of death, Pastore said riding a motorcycle on the freeway is a dangerous activity that could cost him his life.
But, he added, "That's (just) my body part, and the key distinction undergirds the entire Christian worldview."
Pastore's motorcycle was sideswiped on the freeway on his way home after his broadcast Nov. 19. He suffered major head injuries and remained in a coma for weeks before passing away, Dec. 17. Pastore was 55 years old.
