One by one, the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings in Newtown, Conn., are being laid to rest.

A painful image marked most of the funerals: little coffins, much too small, belonging to the 20 children killed.

Nine funerals were held Wednesday.

More than a hundred firefighters honored 7-year-old Daniel Barden, who dreamed of being one of them when he grew up.

At 6-year-old Caroline Previdi's funeral, everyone wore pink ties and scarves, her favorite color.

Five more funerals and six wakes are scheduled for Thursday.
