The murder of 20 children and six adults in Newtown, Conn., has started a conversation about gun control and mental illness in our country.

However, there's one topic most politicians and media won't mention as a root cause behind such tragedies: The reality of evil and spiritual warfare.

Dr. Russell Moore is the Dean of the School of Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He recently wrote an article on his blog titled, School Shootings and Spiritual Warfare.
