Each day, we see extraordinary people and events in the media, leaving some of us feeling our "ordinary" lives and what we do is not important.

Writer and researcher Alan Dowd has a different view.

In his recent article "The God of Tiny Details," Dowd explains how God recognizes and appreciates even our smallest accomplishments.

"There's no doubt that God remembers and treasures the big and great things His children do for the kingdom," he wrote.

"But He also remembers and treasures the little things that often go unnoticed, at least by us," he said.
