Just one month after closing its doors, Bishop Eddie Long's New Birth Christian Academy is set to re-open.

The Atlanta megachurch pastor announced the school's re-opening at church services last Sunday.

A church spokesman said New Birth Christian Academy will open Thursday in a partnership with Aurora Day School, which is also based in the Atlanta area.

Last month, the 18-year-old school closed its doors citing financial difficulties. Long has been at the center of a sex scandal and his wife recently filed for divorce.

The Christian Post reported that school officials have denied any connections between the school's troubles and Long's sex scandal.

Details of the agreement with Aurora Day School are expected to be released this week.
