A Georgia family who lost almost everything in a house fire is now counting their blessings.
Bernice Faust said it's a miracle no one was hurt in the fire that destroyed her house and most of her possessions.
But an even bigger miracle, Faust said, is what was found unscathed among the ashes -- a Bible that belonged to her late husband.
"Everything beside the Bible and on the Bible was burnt. So I moved it and the Bible was wet and cold," recalled McDuffie County firefighter Christopher Hinton.
"I couldn't believe what I was seeing," he continued. "I mean, it was a miracle."
"We're thankful and grateful," Faust added. "It's a family heirloom."
Faust said finding the Bible reminded her to always keep the faith, and that God works out all things for good.
