The uniforms for the U.S. Olympic Team may be red, white, and blue, but they were made in "Red" China.
Congress is outraged by the U.S. Olympic Committee's decision to outsource the team's uniforms.
The American textile industry is struggling and many workers are out of work. Republican and Democratic lawmakers stand united on the issue.
"I think they should take all the uniforms, put them in a big pile and burn them and start all over again," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
Republican House Speaker John Boehner said the Olympic Committee made a bad decision.
"You'd think they know better," he said.
Meanwhile, The U.S. Olympic Committee is defending its choice, saying the team is privately funded and they are proud of their partnership with American designer Ralph Lauren.
