"The Amazing Spider-Man" earned a record breaking $35 million on its Tuesday opening and is continuing to sell out in theaters nationwide.
Initially, the film was predicted to earn around $120 million during its first six days, but after such a strong start the superhero flick could make much more.
Although the film continues to be successful, Bob Waliszewski, movie reviewer for Focus on the Family's Plugged In said parents should know there is more violence in this remake, which could make it inappropriate for younger kids.
Waliszewski spoke with CBN News more about "The Amazing Spider-Man," its family friendliness, and whether the film lives up to comic-buff expectations.
