This Fourth of July holiday marks America's 236th birthday.

In those years, the country has grown from a small colony of settlers and immigrants into a beacon of liberty that spans across an entire continent.

Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, also called "The Skit Guys," are known for their short films on a variety of subjects, from grace and forgiveness to honor and patriotism.

The pair produced "Our Heroes," a skit about a father teaching his son about the cost of freedom -- a message many reflect on for July 4.
