Ad Feedback

Proposed legislation banning discrimination based on sexual orientation is creating much debate in Jacksonville, Fla.

The bill would add sexual orientation to a human rights ordinance that prohibits discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations.

The city council has met several times, spending hours in public and private meetings.

It's also heard testimony from hundreds of supporters and opponents about the controversial legislation.

Roger Gannam, a Jacksonville attorney working with the Alliance Defense Fund on this issue, talked more about the bill, on CBN Newswatch, June 27.
