Reminiscent of the 1998 film "Mulan," Disney is hoping to wow young moviegoers with its latest "girl power" film, "Brave."
The Pixar production follows the story of Princess Merida, a courageous young girl who gives up her kingdom's traditions to chart her own way in life.
She's a girl with princess problems that center around a troubled relationship with her mother.
But after her actions spark chaos and lead to a curse on her family, she sets out to save her land, and learns some valuable lessons in the process.
CBN News spoke with Bob Waliszewski, director of Focus on the Family's Plugged In, about the film and its message. Click play for his comments.
