The daughter of Teen Mania founder Ron Luce is walking again after surviving a plane crash in Kansas last month.
Hannah Luce and four others were flying to a Teen Mania "Acquire the Fire" rally in Iowa May 11 when their plane went down.
Hannah, the sole survivor of the crash, sustained burns over 28 percent of her body.
"Hannah went through more than four hours of skin graft surgery this afternoon for burns she suffered on her hands, back and legs," Ron Luce wrote in his May 15 blog.
Now, after three weeks in the hospital, Ron said his daughter walked for the first time Saturday -- without the aid of a walker.
"I want to thank you all so much for praying!" he wrote Sunday.
"As we have heard from people praying from all around the world for Hannah's recovery, she continues to be in the burn center of the KU Medical Center in Kansas City and is making significant progress," he added. "She's still in quite a bit of pain, but she is beginning to use her limbs more."
The Teen Mania founder said his daughter appreciated the numerous cards, letters and gifts sent by well-wishers, including Gov. Sam Brownback.
"Gov. Brownback listened to Hannah's story and then prayed for her, and that really lifted her spirit," he wrote.
Hannah is expected to be relocated to a rehabilitation center in Dallas on Monday.
