A new poll shows most Americans disagree with the Obama administration's mandate that religious employers provide birth control for their workers.
The New York Times/CBS News survey found Americans strongly support an exemption, with 57 percent saying religious groups should be able to opt out of the mandate if they have religious or moral objections.
Thirty-six percent said those groups should have to cover birth control.
The survey of 1,009 adults was conducted March 7-11 and had a margin of error of three percentage points.
