Jaded Hollywood is exploring its whimsical side with the new movie "Mirror, Mirror" hitting theaters Friday.

The new film, a combination of action, adventure, science fiction and fantasy, is a modern-day take on the Walt Disney classic "Snow White."

"Disney's Snow White sang to birds and swept floors and slept a good long while in a glass coffin, waiting for her prince to arrive," Plugged In Online film critic Paul Asay writes. "This Snow White … well, she's a little more determined and active than that."
