Veteran's Day is a time to remember and thank those military men and women who've served America from the Revolutionary War to today.
Historian Jane Hampton Cook has written several books on America's veterans, including Stories of Faith and Courage from the War In Iraq and Afghanistan.
"There are 22 million veterans right now living in the United States. These veterans embody perseverance," she told CBN News.
Cook recently spoke with CBN News Anchor Lee Webb about the sacred holiday. She also explained the meaning behind the colors of the nation's flag and how America's service men and women embody all they represent.
