The U.S. Postal Service kicked off the holiday season with the unveiling of its annual Christmas stamp.
"The Holy Family" stamp celebrates Christmas with a scene from the Nativity Story.
It shows Joseph leading a donkey carrying Mary and the baby Jesus, being guided by a star shining in the desert sky.
The stamp was unveiled in the National Cathedral's Bethlehem Chapel earlier this week. They can be purchased at local post office's around the country.
The Postal Service will deliver an estimated 17 billion cards between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
