Another Christian college has filed a lawsuit over the birth control mandate in the Obama administration's health care law.
The College of the Ozarks in southwestern Missouri said providing contraception coverage in its health insurance plans violates its religious beliefs.
"To give you a little background, here's a college that's been a pervasively religious school for over 100 years, and for the last 40, we've been looking to [our] exemption that originated in the 1964 Civil Rights Act," The Daily Caller quoted Ozarks President Jerry C. Davis.
"Now, all of a sudden, somebody's dreamed up a new definition of what's a religious employer, and our understanding is we don't qualify," he said.
Other schools like Notre Dame and the Catholic University of America have also filed federal lawsuits against the mandate.
