A series of attacks on churches over Easter weekend was reported in Shelby Township, Mich., and Camden, N.J.

In Shelby, thieves broke into a Catholic church after Easter services and made off with $40,000 in cash.

In Camden, a Baptist church had its stained glass windows broken and electronic equipment stolen on Good Friday.

Meanwhile, in Rock Island, Ill., parishioners at Sacred Heart Church say a man walked up to a 100-year-old statue of Jesus, pushed it over, and walked away.

The statue depicting the Savior with outstretched arms was damaged, but no one was close enough to get a good look at the culprit.
