NBC killed an episode of its new serial killer drama "Hannibal" in response to the Boston bombing violence.

Thursday's broadcast was originally scheduled to air a story line that features children being brainwashed and turned into killers.

Watch CBN's Mark Martin's interview with Tim Winter, President of Parents Television Council. He says the networks still don't get it when it comes to the impact of violence portrayed in TV shows.

Instead, Executive Producer Bryan Fuller decided to air a different episode. It addressed the human response to suffering.

Other networks including ABC and FOX have also adjusted their programming in light of the Boston attack.
