One of Ariel Castro's victims personally confronted her former captor at his sentencing Thursday.
Michelle Knight is one of the three women Castro kidnapped, raped, and held captive in his Cleveland home for more than a decade.
Knight bravely delivered her statement to the court.
"What does God think of you hypocritically going to church every Sunday and coming home to torture us?" she asked.
"The death penalty would be so much easier. You don't deserve that. You deserve to spend life in prison," she added. "I can forgive you but I will never forget. With the guidance of God I will prevail and help others that suffered at the hands of others."
Knight went on to tell Castro that while her hell was over, his was only just beginning.
Castro apologized to his victims and repeatedly said, "I am not a monster."
Castro will serve a life sentence plus 1,000 years.
