Kansas Man Arrested for Planning Airport Terror Attack

A 58-year-old man from Kansas was arrested for planning an attack at Wichita Mid-Continent regional airport, which included driving a car full of explosives into an terminal.

The suspect, Terry Lee Loewen, an airport employee, reportedly radicalized after reading Islamic extremist material on the Internet.

Authorities say he spent months developing a plan to drive a car full of explosives into an airport terminal.

Loewen now faces multiple charges, including trying to provide material support to a foreign terrorist group.
