Ruling: Mandate Can't Be Forced on Catholic Groups

A federal judge has ruled the Obamacare contraception mandate cannot be enforced on Catholic organizations.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, along with various health and educational groups with Catholic affiliations, sued last year challenging an Obamacare provision that says non-profits must provide contraceptive coverage or authorize a third party to voluntarily provide coverage.

The judge's decision said that forcing groups to authorize a third party to provide contraceptive care violates their religious rights.
