Oklahoma lawmakers are considering a ban on foreign law in the state's courts.

The bill would ban judges in Oklahoma from basing any rulings on foreign laws, including Islamic Sharia law.

In 2010, voters there approved a state constitutional amendment that would have stopped courts from using Sharia law in their rulings.

But the amendment was blocked by a federal judge who said it discriminated against the Muslim religion.
