Winter weather is blasting much of the United States Monday.
    
A dangerous new storm is causing problems from the Rockies to the Dakotas.

In New England, blizzard conditions hammered residents with heavy snow and powerful winds, which caused white-out conditions Sunday.
   
The new blast came as many in the region are still recovering from a monster blizzard that buried some areas under three feet of snow.
