Sproul: Christian Kids Shouldn't Be in Public School

The White House is proposing the government partner with states to provide preschool funding for all 4-year-olds from low and moderate-income families.
But leading Christian author and speaker R.C. Sproul, Jr. said he believes the problem goes far beyond the price tag of a universal pre-kindergarten program.

He told CBN News believes that as long as Christians continue allow their children to be trained by the state, America will continue to have a culture that worships the state.

"My conviction that education is always and everywhere religious," he said. "It's not a surprise that when 80 percent of evangelical parents have their children in the government's schools that they're going to embrace the religion of the government which is the worship of the state."

Sproul disagreed with the notion that our public schools are failing, saying they're doing exactly what they're designed to do.
That's why he believes Christians shouldn't have their kids in public school.
