The romantic drama "Amour" debuted in theaters across the nation this weekend.
The French-language film, directed by Austrian Michael Haneke, tells the story of Georges and Anne, an elderly couple whose love is put to the test when Anne falls ill.
"They may not enjoy the difficulties of growing old … but as long as they can go through it together, it will be all right," writes Plugged In Online film critic Bob Hoose.
"In truth, there's almost a comfortable, old-shoe joy about it. And we know that comfortable old shoes always come in pairs," he wrote. "Unfortunately, we also know that they just don't last forever."
Plugged In Online Director Bob Waliszewski shared his thoughts on the five-time Academy Award nominated movie, on CBN News Channel Morning News, Jan. 25.
